We are writing to invite academic staff, researchers, lecturers, and international mobility coordinators from your institution to participate in an Erasmus Staff Training Week (STT) taking place in the historical university city of Olomouc, Czech Republic.
The course is titled Education Without Borders: Traditional Methods and AI in Practice of Cultural and Educational Institutions and will take place from 7th to 11th September 2026.
This programme is specifically designed for higher education staff, educators, and training specialists who wish to enhance their digital competencies while exploring innovative, non-digital pedagogical approaches. It offers an inspiring space for sharing methodological experiences, academic networking, and fostering future international collaborations.
Course Content & Highlights:
- AI and Digital Tools (3 Days): Hands-on workshops focused on specific artificial intelligence tools, visual content generators, and interactive platforms to design advanced educational materials and digital content.
- Practical Educational Methods (2 Days): Direct participation and peer-to-peer reflection in 3 real educational programmes delivered in unique environments—including a UNESCO World Heritage site (Flower Garden in Kroměříž), a regional museum, and an open-air living history museum.
- Expertise: The course is co-delivered by experienced educators, including professionals from the Olomouc Museum of Art (MUO), ensuring a high standard of professional and practical training.
Funding & Logistics:
- Participation Fee: 400 EUR – this can be fully covered through the Erasmus+ Programme under Key Action 1 (KA1 - Staff Mobility for Training).
- All-Inclusive Local Logistics: Please note that all admission fees and organized transport from Olomouc to the external venues (Kroměříž and Rymice) are fully included in the participation fee – ensuring a completely stress-free experience for international attendees.
