DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES |
Work hours: following the schedule of the Greek School in Oslo: 22-24 teaching/supervising hours per week and 12 hours per week for daily plan of activities and students' portfolio update; remaining hours to be devoted to visits to Norwegian schools and kindergartens. Provide age-appropriate and diligent supervision in class. Address cultural needs of Greek school and preschool children; use various tools to make the teaching interesting and effective i.e. storytelling, films, music, and games; plan and implement lessons and teach through play and structured experience to help develop the children's language and social skills; allow for teacher initiated and child initiated exploration of the Greek language. Communicate lesson plans and outcomes to parents in written form. |
