We would like to invite students enrolled in your degree course to take part in the second edition of the INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL FOR EUROPEAN STUDENTS AND RESEARCHERS: HISTORY, LANGUAGES AND BORDER CULTURES.
As part of Nova Gorica (SLO)/Gorizia (I) being the 2025 Borderless European Capital of Culture, the Kulturhaus Görz association is organising an intensive study programme for European students and young researchers. It offers selected humanities students and researchers the opportunity to take part in the event, free of charge. The programme will be held in Gorizia from the 28th August to the 6th September 2025 and it follows a hugely successful inaugural edition of 2024. Please check all necessary information in the attached document entitled “Summer School - Basic Info”.
The Summer School aims to explore themes around the multilingual history of Gorizia through workshops, seminars with university lecturers, guided tours and excursions in the area and meetings with Italian and Slovenian students. This project is part of the programme Thousand years of History in the centre of Europe: Borgo castello crossroads of people and cultures, funded by the European Union with funds from Next generation EU.
