Broaden your legal horizons this summer! Join one (or more) international summer schools offered by the Faculty of Law of the University of Antwerp.

 

Upon successful completion of the programme, you will receive 3 ECTS credits and a micro-credential certificate.

Companies crossing Borders

23 - 27 June 2025

Expanding a business across borders isn’t just about ambition—it’s also about navigating mergers, tax rules, labour laws, and international contracts like a pro. 

 

Target group: applicants with a degree in law, business or economics, or students enrolled in those disciplines in at least their third year. Those with similar competences (to be assessed on a case-by-case basis) are eligible for this summer school as well.

Animal Law, Rights and Representation

25 – 29 August 2025

Baah-lancing rights: Do some animals have more rights than others?

 

Gain insight in animal law as a legal discipline, learn about animal rights and find ways to represent animals in court.

 

Target group: third bachelor and master students in law and law professionals. Other participants should have at least completed 2 full years of education in a relevant field of study.

Legal Technology and Legal Innovation

25 – 29 August 2025

Code your way through the future of law by learning how to work with Python. By the end of this summer school you will understand the basics of legal tech and its evolution in the legal world. 

 

Target group: master students in law and law professionals.

 

No prior technical knowledge is required.
