We are pleased to inform you that Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi is organizing the 52nd edition of the Summer Courses ”Romania - Language and Civilization” between 17th and 31st July 2024.
It is our privilege to inform you that the Executive Board of our University has agreed upon awarding up to six grants for students from your universities, members of the Utrecht Network, Coimbra Group and the Alliance of European Universities EC2U.
The grant will cover the fee for the participation to the courses, the course materials, the cultural programme and assistance throughout the programme, the accommodation in the campus, 2 daily meals (breakfast and lunch).
We are kindly asking you to inform your students about this opportunity.
Candidates are required to:
• Fill in the application form (see document attached), then print it out, sign and submit it to the international office at the home university.
Their application file must be comprised of the following mandatory documents:
- curriculum vitae (CV);
- copies of certificates/diplomas or at least an academic transcript (in English);
-copy of relevant pages from passport (page containing personal data and photo).
Students must submit their application form to the International Relations Office of their home university.
We kindly ask our colleagues from the international offices in the partner universities to send via e-mail by Friday, 17th May, 2024 the scanned copies of the students’ application forms and files to:

Selection - In case there are more applications than the number of scholarships, we will update you via e-mail with regard to the outcome of the selection process, so please make certain the students specify their e-mail address correctly in the application form.
