Our office is planning to submit a project to EU within the Erasmus Plus - KA2 - Capacity Building in the field of High Education (CBHE). As we are at the early stage of writing the proposal, we are looking for EU partners who have a great experience in digital education especially with the MOOCs platform (Massive Open Online Courses). To implement the project successfully, we rely on the expertise and knowledge of EU partners, thus we need the support of National Office. We kindly ask you to forward this email to other National Agencies to speed up the process of finding a feasible partners from EU. Below, I am sharing the brief information about the project.
The project aims to build capacity in digital education of local HEIs by improving readiness, knowledge, and quality assurance, and implementing Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) platform that will enable wider communities to benefit from free education in local language. The specific objectives of the project include:
- creating a clear strategy and action plan of local HEIs for digital adoption by integrating EU’s best practices
- to empower local HEI educators and administrators to successfully transform educational institutions
- to design a pedagogical guide to explain carefully how to integrate the MOOCs into a pedagogic learning path; plan online courses and set learning objectives with the support of the EU partners
- implement the first MOOCs platform in Azerbaijan by involving local HEIs
- establish QA mechanisms and standards to ensure the online courses are offered in high quality
