The Summer School "Heritage and Innovation : Art Nouveau, a laboratory for past, present and future challenge" is a 10-day summer programme in English organised by the Faculty of Architecture La Cambre Horta at Université libre de Bruxelles in partnership with the Université d'Aix-Marseille (France) and the University of Bucharest (Romania) from 29 June to 8 July 2022 in Brussels.
This programme is designed for students and young professionals in architecture, art, history and urban renovation interested in a transdisciplinary and transnational approach to Art Nouveau. It will be entirely taught in English. Participants will undertake a journey through European culture and history and examine the relationship between heritage and innovation through the lens of Art Nouveau. This summer school offers a unique opportunity for exchanges between students, young professionals, academics, and experts such as curators, architects and practitioners involved in heritage and urban policies.
