Summer School going digital
Due to the ongoing evolution of the covid-19 pandemic, the physical version of the summer school is cancelled. We are however happy to inform you that a full-fledged digital alternative is developed, offering the same hands-on approach and collaborative environment as the physical version does. The online course takes place from 16 - 27 August 2021.

What
During this hands-on summer school, students will be introduced in the framework of a business idea by focusing on different aspects of entrepreneurship. The topics range from ideation over intellectual property to market research and business modelling. Moreover, students will engage in a real-life based group work which will let them apply the knowledge and skills they gained effectively. Presentations will be given by practitioners as well as academics, with ensuing discussions by all participants.
How
The summer school will be hosted via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, the collaborative online learning platform of the University of Antwerp. Participants need to have a stable internet connection, a headset, a computer and a webcam. The summer school offers a variety of teaching methods. Most sessions will be held “live” as to enable interaction and debate. Interactive workshops and several breakout sessions will assure the exchange of knowledge and perspectives among the participants. Some theoretical or introductory sessions will be recorded and shared beforehand.

Who
Master students or bachelor students in their last year who are interested in discovering entrepreneurship. As the summer school is interdisciplinary by nature, students from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Registration fee
€600
For this digital edition, the fee includes all lectures, tutoring and workshops, course material, digital coaching and (online) social activities. Technical set-up (stable internet connection, headset, computer and webcam) has to be provided by the participant.
