Courses at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki are normally taught in Greek. However, there are courses in other languages too, especially at the Foreign Language Faculties, Faculty of Law (courses in English, French and German language), School of Journalism & Mass Communication, and School of Economics. In all other cases, there are special arrangements for LLP/Erasmus students, such as assignment of essays in English with the use of English bibliography in small groups of students.

Social and Health Policy Committee of AUTH was established in 1997 with the aim to facilitate students with disabilities. Services have been developed and updated according to European and International standards. There are several fields that Social and Health Policy Committee is getting involved, always aiming to make student life easier so that all students can focus on their academic demands.

“Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University promotes student equality by providing certain facilities for students with special needs. 4. Termination of the agreement
In the event of unilateral termination, a notice of at least one academic year should be given. This means that a unilateral decision to discontinue the exchanges notified to the other party by 1 September 20XX will only take effect as of 1 September 20XX+1. The termination clauses must include the following disclaimer: "Neither the European Commission nor the National Agencies can be held responsible in case of a conflict."

UAIC uses ECTS for transfer and accumulation. The ECTS credit is a notional, averaged unit of 28 hours of student workload for passing a course (contact hours, any form of individual study). Each degree curriculum has 30 ECTS per semester; each course having 5 ECTS at Bachelor level or between 6-10 ECTS at Master level. Each department individually establishes the number of course credits based on its weight regarding the standard workload students need in order to achieve the expected learning results. Credits are awarded only if the student fulfils all the requirements necessary for passing.
Grades: The Romanian grading scale runs from 1 to 10 and the marks have the following meanings: 1-4 fail, 5-6 sufficient, 7 satisfactory, 8 good, 9 very good, 10 excellent. Recommended ECTS grades: 1-4 = F, 5-6 = E, 7 = D, 8 = C, 9 = B, 10 = A.
P stands for Participation, i.e. the student has successfully and regularly attended the course.
2. Visa
The sending and receiving institutions will provide assistance, when required, in securing visas for incoming and outbound mobile participants, according to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.
