Courses at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki are normally taught in Greek. However, there are courses in other languages too, especially at the Foreign Language Faculties, Faculty of Law (courses in English, French and German language), School of Journalism & Mass Communication, and School of Economics. In all other cases, there are special arrangements for LLP/Erasmus students, such as assignment of essays in English with the use of English bibliography in small groups of students.

Social and Health Policy Committee of AUTH was established in 1997 with the aim to facilitate students with disabilities. Services have been developed and updated according to European and International standards. Outgoing students will be selected for the study abroad semester according to their academic results, motivation letter, CV and language skills. Application deadline for outgoing student is March 1, every year, and concerns applications for both autumn and spring term next coming academic year.

Application deadlines: May 15th for autumn semester and November 15th for spring semester.
All incoming exchange students at BTH are invited to Introduction meeting by International coordinators, just before the term starts. Information is given about courses, practical things regarding studies and student life at BTH. A Welcome meeting is also arranged for all incoming students. BTH with all its units is presented here, as well as other authorities such as the Municipality, Housing companies, Student Union, sport organizations. ESN organization at our campus is assisting both incoming and outgoing mobility students. Student Centre help desk is open daily for assisting both incoming and outgoing students.
Incoming staff members for teaching and training mobility should apply by sending the Erasmus contract to exchangestudies@bth.se Please send some information about the current work position and suggest some different dates for the exchange before sending the contract. The admission procedure is an ongoing process during the whole year.

The agreement will become operative on the date of signature of both universities and shall remain in force the full duration of the ERASMUS+ Programme. In case of a prior termination, a written notice of at least one academic year should be sent to the partner university. Any additions and/or amendments should be agreed upon in writing at least one academic year before it will come into effect. Neither the European Commission nor the National Agencies can be held responsible in case of a conflict.

4. Termination of the agreement
In the event of unilateral termination, a notice of at least one academic year should be given. This means that a unilateral decision to discontinue the exchanges notified to the other party by 1 September 20XX will only take effect as of 1 September 20XX+1. The termination clauses must include the following disclaimer: "Neither the European Commission nor the National Agencies can be held responsible in case of a conflict."

Grading system at BTH:

Each course is to have a grading scale. At BTH, one of the following scales is to be employed:
- G, Ux, U (G Pass, Ux Insufficient, supplementation required, U Fail)
- A, B, C, D, E, FX, F (A Excellent, B Very good, C Good, D Satisfactory, E Sufficient, FX Insufficient, supplementation required, F Fail).
For the opportunity in the grading scales AF and GU to complete an examination items to approved level (E or G) there are limitations indicated in the course syllabus.
Grades are given for course items and for complete courses, by the examiner.
