Institutional Account / Academic ID

 

Note: Once you arrive at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki you need to Register within the Erasmus Office (Department of European Educational Programmes) where you will obtain your ‘Erasmus ID’ Card. With this card you will have to Register within the Secretariat of the School where you will study for your Erasmus+ Period.

Academic Calendar

 

The academic year starts on September 1st every year and ends on August 31st of the following year. For further information, please consult the table below.
The educational work of every academic year is organized in two semesters, the fall semester and the spring semester, each of which comprises of 13 weeks of teaching and two or three weeks of exams.

Traineeship

For the Erasmus+ Traineeship there is no need for a Bilateral Agreement to exist between the Sending and the Receiving Institutions.  Incoming Students for Traineeships need to apply first to their Home Institution and receive the initial guidelines first from them.

The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki develops a variety of cooperation programmes with a notable number of European Institutions of Higher Education. More precisely, for the academic year 2014-2015 it cooperated with 500 European Institutions within the frame of Erasmus+ Programme.
