The European University Foundation (https://uni-foundation.eu/) is a network of 19 full member institutions and 81 associate member institutions (with limited rights), aiming to promote the modernization of the European Higher Education Area. Its actions focus on five pillars, which are:
-
promoting the quality of student mobility,
-
enhancing graduate employability,
-
designing innovative policies,
-
developing digital solutions and tools in the field of higher education, and
-
promoting active citizenship.
In recent years, the EUF has spearheaded the development of digital solutions and tools, such as the Online Learning Agreement, Erasmus Without Paper, the Erasmus+ App, etc., which aim to simplify the procedures of the Erasmus+ program, and in many of which AUTh serves as a key and strategic partner. For more information regarding these specific projects, you can visit the EUF website at https://uni-foundation.eu/projects/.
The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki has been a member of this network since 2013 and actively participates in its activities.
