SustaCon21: Summer school on "Sustainable Construction" - 2021 edition

Printer-friendly version

3rd edition of the Summer School “Sustainable Construction: from re-use to new use (SustaCon21).

The school is organized by the Department of Civil Engineering (DICIV) and the Department of Information and Electric Engineering and Applied Mathematics (DIEM) of the University of Salerno (UNISA), in cooperation with the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Riga Technical University (RTU), Latvia, and it will take place from August 26 to September 3, 2021, in Salerno, Italy.

At the moment we are planning to hold the school both in presence and online, to do not prevent participation to people that will not be allowed to travel in August. We believe that the vaccination campaign and seasonal pattern of the virus will allow to have the situation under control and will permit to celebrate the school in presence. Anyway, health is the first issue and we understand that complications may occur. For this reason, we will accept also applications for virtual participation.

Of course, for those that will attend the school in presence, all the sanitary rules will be fulfilled, ensuring social distancing, masks and frequent sanitizing of hands and rooms.

Anyway, if in summertime the restrictions for travelling and for celebrating events will be in force, we will move the school fully in online mode. The final decision will be provided in timely manner. Our staff will give support to candidates and professors to handle travel and accommodation reservations.
