INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL SARAJEVO 2020

Association “PRAVNIK” together with the partner organization Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Rule of Law Programme South East Europe will be offering the fully accredited International Summer School Sarajevo 2020 on “The Role of Transitional Justice In Rebuilding Human Rights and Rule of Law in Post-conflict Societies” between 4 – 15 August 2020.  

 

WHERE

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Accommodation (covered by the participation fee) is offered at the Franciscan Students’ Hostel in double rooms. The Hostel is at 15 minute walking distance from the city center, in safe and peaceful surroundings.

 

WHY

  • To empower future decision makers to establish the Rule of Law and Human Rights system in transitional countries.
  • To widen theoretical and practical skills of participants.
  • To influence changes in transitional countries towards sustainable Rule of Law and the respect of Human Rights.

 

ELIGIBILITY

The program encourages applications from up to 30 graduate and PhD students of law and related disciplines (under the age of 35); including a limited number of undergraduate students and young professionals from South East Europe, Europe and the US.

 

PARTICIPATION FEE:

ISSS participation fee is 200€ and it covers the accommodation, most meals and working materials. Students from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, the Republic of Moldova, and Serbia are eligible to apply for a participation fee reduction of 50% (100 €). Participation fee is due prior to your arrival and selected participants will receive detailed information.
