Summer School on European Law, 2. - 6. September 2019 - Würzburg

The Law Faculty of Würzburg, Germany welcomes law students from all over the European Union. Supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) the participants are invited to expand on their knowledge of European law.

The Summer School will take place from Monday, 2nd to Friday, 6th September 2019 at the Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg, Germany.

As one of the international group of participants you will attend lectures on European law. They will be held in English. Subjects will include:

  • The European and German political system
  • Recent developments in European law
  • European intellectual property law
  • European private international law
  • European data protection law
  • European procurement law
  • European company law
  • European criminal law

You will also attend workshops on the specific areas of European law listed above.  In these workshops you will discuss the approach towards the topic in your country with your fellow students. Participants will be awarded with at least 2 ECTS points.
