The Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies and the Faculty of Law of the Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany are pleased to announce the 15th Hessen International Summer University - Innovation and Regulation in Pharma & Medtech, which will take place from July 20th until August 17th 2019. Internationally renowned academics and practitioners will give lectures and practical insights into those fields.
Participants of the ISU will have a fixed schedule. During the first two weeks of the program the students will be introduced into various topics in the field of Medical Innovation and Economics in Health Care. The third week will broaden the acquired knowledge even more by attending courses of Digitalization and MedTech in Health Care. In the last week the students will not only learn about Intellectual Property Rights and the Regulation of the Health Sector but also about Human Rights and Ethic Concerns. Two business-day-trips in combination with a mandatory German language course complete the academic part. Furthermore, one three-day trip will take us to Berlin and another one to Brussels. We also offer an optional day-trip to the beautiful Rhine Valley. All participants can take part in collective evening activities such as the Campus Summer Party or a Sports Day to establish friendships with classmates from all over the world.

The courses and therefore also the material is not only designed for undergraduate students and graduate students, studying topics related to economics; management; pharmacology; medicine and law but also to young professionals who want to further broaden their horizons.
