Inter-institutional agreement between programme countries
Agreement duration: 2014 - 2015
The institutions named below agree to cooperate for the exchange of students and/or staff in the context of the Erasmus+ programme. They commit to respect the quality requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education in all aspects related to the organisation and management of the mobility, in particular the recognition of the credits awarded to students by the partner institution.

Additional information:N BERGEN01: Staff Mobility for Teaching: each request on staff mobility for teaching will have to be considered on an individual basis and will depend on availability at the host university (N BERGEN 01 Faculty of Law).
Staff Mobility for Training: as a general rule, N BERGEN01 Faculty of Law does not have capacity to receive individuals for staff mobility for Training. However, please note that the University of Bergen does organise a Staff exchange week every year to which individuals can apply.

D. Additional requirements
1. Aristotle University of Thessaloniki:
Courses at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki are normally taught in Greek. However, there are courses in other languages too, especially at the Foreign Language Faculties, Faculty of Law (courses in English, French and German language), School of Journalism & Mass Communication, and School of Economics. In all other cases, there are special arrangements for LLP/Erasmus students, such as assignment of essays in English with the use of English bibliography in small groups of students.

Students with disabilities
Social and Health Policy Committee of AUTH was established in 1997 with the aim to facilitate students with disabilities. Services have been developed and updated according to European and International standards. There are several fields that Social and Health Policy Committee is getting involved, always aiming to make student life easier so that all students can focus on their academic demands.

2. Following the receipt of the paper application (printed online application), AUTH will send its decision within 4-6 weeks.
3. A Transcript of Records will be issued by the receiving institution no later than 5 weeks after the assessment period has finished at the receiving HEI.

The receiving institution will send its decision within 4-6 weeks.

All students at the University of Bergen must order their own transcripts of records online by logging on to our electronic student system StudentWeb. Results are available 3-4 weeks after the examination date.
4. Termination of the agreement
In the event of unilateral termination, a notice of at least one academic year should be given. This means that a unilateral decision to discontinue the exchanges notified to the other party by 1 September 20XX will only take effect as of 1 September 20XX+1. The termination clauses must include the following disclaimer: "Neither the European Commission nor the National Agencies can be held responsible in case of a conflict."

Universitetet i BergenCredit system and grading:
According to the International Education Credit Transfer System (ECTS), 60 “studiepoeng” is equivalent to 1 year of normal study for a full-time student, i.e. 60 ECTS credits. The full-time workload for one academic year is 1500 – 1800 hours of study / 60 “studiepoeng”.
The grading scale is explained briefly in the following table. For some programs, the criteria for determining each grade may be described in more detail. This explanation may be even more specific for some subjects.

2. Visa
The sending and receiving institutions will provide assistance, when required, in securing visas for incoming and outbound mobile participants, according to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education. 3. Insurance
The sending and receiving institutions will provide assistance in obtaining insurance for incoming and outbound mobile participants, according to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.
