Courses at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki are normally taught in Greek. However, there are courses in other languages too, especially at the Foreign Language Faculties, Faculty of Law (courses in English, French and German language), School of Journalism & Mass Communication, and School of Economics. In all other cases, there are special arrangements for LLP/Erasmus students, such as assignment of essays in English with the use of English bibliography in small groups of students.

Social and Health Policy Committee of AUTH was established in 1997 with the aim to facilitate students with disabilities. Services have been developed and updated according to European and International standards. There are several fields that Social and Health Policy Committee is getting involved, always aiming to make student life easier so that all students can focus on their academic demands.

4. Termination of the agreement
In the event of unilateral termination, a notice of at least one academic year should be given. This means that a unilateral decision to discontinue the exchanges notified to the other party by 1 September 20XX will only take effect as of 1 September 20XX+1. The termination clauses must include the following disclaimer: "Neither the European Commission nor the National Agencies can be held responsible in case of a conflict."

Correspondence of Portuguese and European Grading Scales
In accordance with Article 19 of Decree-Law 42/2005 published on 22/02/2005 in the Official Journal of the Portuguese Republic under Section II (European grading scale), the correspondence between the European grading scale and the Portuguese grading scale is composed of 5 segments (classes), identified by the letters A to E.
In the 10-20 interval of the entire 0-20 numerical scale in use in Portugal, the European grading scale adopts the following correspondence:
A: grade 20 – p, where p is the classification that incorporates, in this segment, 10% of the students;
B: grade p-1 to q where q is the classification that incorporates, in this segment combined with the previous segment, 35% of the students;
C: grade q-1 to r where r is the classification that incorporates, in this segment combined with the two previous segments, 65% of the students;
D: grade r-1 to s where s is the classification that incorporates, in this segment combined with the previous segments, 90% of the students;
E: s-1to 10.
In applying the correspondence between the European grading scale and the Portuguese grading scale, as per the above-mentioned legal instrument, the distribution of classifications are calculated for a period of at least three years and for a sample of at least 100 students.

The sending and receiving institutions will provide assistance, when required, in securing visas for incoming and outbound mobile participants, according to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education.
