Courses at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki are normally taught in Greek. However, there are courses in other languages too, especially at the Foreign Language Faculties, Faculty of Law (courses in English, French and German language), School of Journalism & Mass Communication, and School of Economics. In all other cases, there are special arrangements for LLP/Erasmus students, such as assignment of essays in English with the use of English bibliography in small groups of students.

Social and Health Policy Committee of AUTH was established in 1997 with the aim to facilitate students with disabilities. Services have been developed and updated according to European and International standards. There are several fields that Social and Health Policy Committee is getting involved, always aiming to make student life easier so that all students can focus on their academic demands.

2. Università degli Studi di Pisa
The partners agree to abide by ECTS Guidelines and use ECTS transparency and recognition tools.
They will promote meaningful credit mobility for students of all levels, giving students reasonable freedom of choice in their learning activities.
In the future, the partners plan to extend and supplement the present mobility agreement by developing Erasmus+ projects (alliances and partnerships) as appropriate.

Termination of the agreement
This agreement may be terminated by common consent at any time, although any mobility already agreed will be honoured. If one party wishes to terminate the agreement unilaterally, it must give one year’s notice before the termination takes effect. The termination clauses include the following disclaimer: "Neither the European Commission nor the National Agencies can be held responsible in case of a conflict”.

4. Termination of the agreement
In the event of unilateral termination, a notice of at least one academic year should be given. The grading system for the course units consists of 30 possible points, plus 'lode' (cum laude) in case of excellence.
Marks are given by the lecturer on the basis of performance as ascertained in a public examination by a board of at least two teachers.
Main exam sessions are held in June/July; September; January/February; April.
