Invitation to TLU Staff week - From Erasmus+ to Employment, December 14 - 17, 2026 [1]

With universities across Europe facing tighter scrutiny over the real-world value of a degree, those of us in international offices are on the front lines. How can we make sure exchange programmes and traineeships actually give students an edge in the job market?
We’d love for you to join us at Tallinn University from December 14–17, 2026, for our International Staff Week. Under this year’s theme, “From Erasmus+ to Employment,” we’ll explore whether employers truly value international mobility and examine the vital role IROs can play in bridging the gap between the international experience and the skills students need for their future careers.
Throughout the week, we will combine time on campus with a visit to a local innovation ecosystem. You’ll get an insider’s look at how TLU runs its interdisciplinary student projects (LIFE), join interactive sessions with fellow international staff, and enjoy a small festive workshop. Beyond the sessions, you will have plenty of time to stroll through Tallinn’s historic Old Town, explore the famous Christmas Market, and experience (a hopefully!) snowy Estonia at its best.
NB! Tallinn University will host the Monday welcome dinner and daily lunches throughout the programme.
The final day-by-day agenda will be published in October.

We warmly invite you to apply by October 15, 2026, by filling in the registration form. After the application period closes, we will confirm participation with the selected applicants.

To bring together a diverse group of colleagues from across our partner universities, we aim to welcome up to two participants from each institution.
Funding should be secured through your home institution’s Erasmus+ staff mobility grant.
