The Chair of Foundations of European Law of Department of Law of the University of Sassari and the Association for the Promotion of University Studies in Central Sardinia, in collaboration with the Faculty of Law of Ribeirao Preto of the University of San Paolo USP and with the Italo-Brasilian Chamber of Commerce, are pleased to offer a Summer School on "Fondamenti del diritto contrattuale europeo - Foundations of European contractual Law / FECL”, that will take place in Nuoro, Sardinia, from 17th to 23rd July 2017.
The activities of the Summer school will be held from Monday to Friday, with intensive courses in the morning and seminars and workshops in the afternoon on themes related with contractual discipline in different fields. The aim is to identify the Roman roots of European Countries contractual systems and analyze how European Law has influenced legal regulation in Latin America countries, with particular reference to Brazilian contractual law.
The teaching staff is composed of experts in the field of contracts, coming from prestigious Italian and foreign universities.
Lectures will be held in Italian and summarized in English.
Please note that foreign students can also enroll and attend two courses of Introduction to Italian Language and Culture and Introduction to Italian Law, that will take place in the two weeks before the starting of the Summer school, according to the following calendar:
- from 3 to 8 July 2017: Introductory course for Italian language and culture for foreigners (30 hours of intensive lesson)
- from 10 to 15 July 2017: Introductory course for Italian law (20 hours of intensive lesson).
